Global Startup EXPO 2026 to Be Held in Osaka

Global Startup EXPO 2026 (GSE2026), an international event focused on deep tech, will be held in Osaka for three days from Monday, October 5 to Wednesday, October 7, 2026.At Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, many visions of the future were presented. Now, the next phase is beginning: moving beyond exhibition and into real-world implementation. This event aims to showcase the technological potential of Osaka and Kansai to the world, and to promote the creation of new industries and clusters in the deep tech field, which is expected to become a key driver of next-generation industry. GSE2026 will be a national-scale event bringing together leading entrepreneurs, investors, and other business professionals from Japan and abroad. Starting today, pre-registration is open for those who wish to receive the latest updates on the event.

Side events organized by local governments, financial institutions, universities, and other organizations in Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo are also planned to take place intensively during the week before and after the main event.

The event will be organized by an executive committee consisting of local governments in Osaka, Kyoto, and Hyogo, as well as universities and economic organizations, in cooperation with government bodies including the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and the Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
